Grand Canyon National Park

Arizona's Grand Canyon National Park is one of the most popular destinations in the world. The hub of the park is the South Rim. This breathtaking canyon is as wide as 18 miles in some places, and it is 1 mile deep to where the Colorado River runs 277 miles through it.

 

Monument Valley

Monument Valley, the most filmed area in the west and the setting for many of John Ford's movies. Explore the areas oddly shaped monoliths, buttes and mesas of red sandstone while learning more about the Navajo way of life.

 

Lake Powell

Located in northern Arizona, Lake Powell is a reservoir on the Colorado River in the Glen Canyon National Recreation Area. With nearly 2,000 miles of shoreline, endless sunshine, warm water, perfect weather, and some of the most spectacular scenery in the west, Lake Powell is the ultimate playground.

Prices are estimated until 2022 airfare is confirmed. Air schedules will be determined 30 days prior to departure. Although we try, we cannot guarantee seating requests.

 

The deposit is $300 per person. The final payment is due by 6/7/2022.

 

Cancellation penalties: If cancellation occurs from booking date to 03/19/22, a $25.00 per person penalty will be assessed. If cancellation occurs between 3/20/22 and 7/2/22, a $325.00 per person penalty will be assessed. If cancellation occurs between 7/3/22 and 9/15/22, the passenger is in full penalty and no refund will be granted. In addition to the cancellation polices listed above, if additional payments have been made to Starr for the purpose of securing your airline reservation, these monies are non-refundable once received. Any name changes after final payment is made will be assessed a per person change fee. The amount of the fee will be determined by the airline.

Fly to Phoenix where upon arrival you will be met by your Tour Director and transfer to your hotel in Scottsdale. This evening enjoy a Western Welcome Dinner with your fellow travelers.

Day 2

9/16/2022
This morning board your Motorcoach and travel north to the beautiful red-rock resort city of Sedona. Enjoy a Sedona Trolley Tour featuring the Chapel of the Holy Cross and Airport Mesa for spectacular views of the Sedona area. The trolley guide will give you insight into the various rock formations indigenous cacti and history of this remarkable area. Enjoy time in Uptown Sedona filled with art galleries, shops and restaurants. Later travel through scenic Oak Creek Canyon & Kaibab National Forest to the incredible Grand Canyon National Park. Check in for a two-night stay at one of the Grand Canyon Lodges located in the South Rim area.

Day 3

Enjoy a full day at the South Rim of Grand Canyon National Park at your own pace. Six million years in the making, the Grand Canyon's dynamic colors and textures inspire reflection at nature's power and beauty. Experience this one-mile deep 277-mile long chasm with its myriad of constantly changing colors and plateaus. Maybe take a hike, walk along the South Rim Trail, do a bit of shopping, explore the historic El Tovar Hotel or enjoy one of the park's famous ice cream cones.

Day 4

9/18/2022
Today make your way out of the park along the South Rim. See the Grand Canyon from several points of interest and stop to see vistas from the historic Desert View Tower. Once out of the park visit famous Cameron Trading Post, well known as a stop for park explorers and Native American art. Continue north to Lake Powell, a reservoir on the Colorado River straddling the Arizona/Utah border. Arrive and check into the Lake Powell Resort situated on the shores of Lake Powell. Enjoy a relaxing Lake Powell Cruise to Antelope Canyon and take in the breathtaking views of the second largest man-made reservoir in the US.

Day 5

This morning embark on a full day adventure. Enter the Monument Valley Navajo Tribal area offering vistas of stunning rock formations on your way to Monument Valley, the most filmed area in the west and setting for many of John Ford's movies. Enjoy an included lunch before a Monument Valley Scenic Drive Tour with a knowledgeable Navajo guide aboard a four-wheel vehicle. Explore the areas oddly shaped monoliths, buttes and mesas of red sandstone while learning more about the Navajo way of life. Later return to your hotel for an evening at your own pace.

Today enjoy Bryce Canyon National Park, a horseshoe bowl of fanciful formations. The various shades of red, rose and pink blend magnificently with many tones of white creating breathtaking sights. The park also features thousands of delicately carved, brilliantly colored spires rising from amphitheaters. Later arrive at your hotel in the Zion National Park area and enjoy dinner.

Today visit Zion Canyon National Park, one of the oldest and most scenic National Parks in the United States. Experience a Park Tram Tour to view the spectacular combination of multicolored canyons, sheer cliffs, streams, waterfalls and foliage that are all part of this park's backdrop. Later board your Motorcoach to the entertainment capital of the world, Las Vegas for your final night. Enjoy a panoramic Las Vegas City Tour featuring the Old Downtown and the Las Vegas Strip. Tonight enjoy a fun-filled Farewell Dinner
