Los Angeles

Arrive in Los Angeles to begin your California Coast & Yosemite travel experience.  Meet your Tour Director and transfer to your Los Angeles area hotel.  Tonight enjoy a Welcome Dinner with your fellow travelers at a popular local restaurant.

 

Reagan National Library

Travel north to visit the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library. The state-of-the-art museum takes you from Reagan’s early years to his time spent as a world leader.  The library also features the Air Force One used by President Reagan.

 

Santa Barbara

Follow the Pacific Coast north to Santa Barbara for a stop in one of California’s most picturesque cities with spectacular Mediterranean architecture.

 

Pismo Beach

Continue to the Pismo Beach area for your overnight stay.

 

Hearst Castle

Today travel to San Simeon to enjoy a tour of Hearst Castle.  Built on a hilltop overlooking the Pacific Ocean, the spectacular grounds and grandiose home feature the world-class art collection of newspaper magnate William Randolph Hearst.

 

Monterey

Journey north along the spectacular Big Sur Coast, the route is nestled between the rocky coast and the Santa Lucia Mountains.  Early this evening arrive in Monterey for a 2-night stay. Then enjoy one of the most breathtaking coastlines in the world, scenic 17 Mile Drive, home to the famous Lone Cypress, Seal Rock and Pebble Beach Golf Course. Travel to Old Monterey filled with historic buildings and where California’s statehood began in 1849. This afternoon enjoy time at your own pace to explore more of the seaside town of Monterey.  Shop and eat in Cannery Row and/or Fisherman’s Wharf which reflect the city’s long history with the sea.  Later maybe visit the famous Monterey Bay Aquarium.

 

Carmel

Drive through and visit quaint Carmel to view tree-lined Ocean Avenue.

 

Salinas

Travel to historic Old Town Salinas, the childhood home of author John Steinbeck. Later journey inland through the fertile San Joaquin Valley, known as the breadbasket of California & stop at a Fruit Stand in the fertile Central Valley.

The package includes 8 breakfasts and 3 dinner, roundtrip airfare to/from Newark or Philadelphia airport, roundtrip transfers, baggage handling and related gratuities and services of a Starr airport coordinator with 15+ passengers.

 

The deposit is $300 per person. The final payment is due by 6/18/2023.

 

Cancellation penalties: If cancellation occurs from booking date to 6/17/23, a $25.00 per person penalty will be assessed. If cancellation occurs between 6/18/23 and 7/3/23, a $300.00 per person penalty will be assessed. If cancellation occurs between 7/4/23 and 9/16/23, the passenger is in full penalty and no refund will be granted. In addition to the cancellation polices listed above, if additional payments have been made to Eyre for the purpose of securing your airline reservation, these monies are non-refundable once received. Any name changes after final payment is made will be assessed a per person change fee. The amount of the fee will be determined by the airline.

 

As of 11/1/2022, Covid-19 Vaccinations and Booster shots are not required by Premier World Discovery, but they are strongly recommended. Destination/Port countries may have their own requirements. It is the tour guest’s responsibility to be up to date on requirements for their booked travel. Eyre Tours powered by Starr cannot accept liability for any passenger refused entry into any flight, hotel, attraction, restaurant, etc. due to failure of the tour guest to provide the required documentation.

Air schedules will be determined 30 days prior to departure. Although we try, we cannot guarantee seating requests.
