Victorian Tea at Mount Hope Estate

Enjoy a greeting by Miss Daisy Grubb dressed in her Victorian finest upon entering the beautiful Mount Hope Mansion. Daisy’s family built the mansion and she was the last of the Grubb’s to reside here. We'll join Daisy and company for a Victorian tea. But first, some basic etiquette will need to be taught! Once everyone’s manners are in check, stories will be shared of the Grubb family and their time at the home, as well as discussion on the history of English tea. Bellies will be full with three savory finger sandwiches and three delectable sweets per person. And, of course, all will be topped of with a spot of tea. Enjoy this interactive environment and truly feel a part of the experience.

 

Sturgis Pretzel Bakery

Founded in 1861, the Julius Sturgis Pretzel Bakery is the first commercial pretzel bakery in America. Learn the history of the original bakery, get a hands-on lesson in pretzel twisting, and taste the results of 150 years of pretzel baking heritage. Includes a Soft Pretzel for each individual.

 

Wilbur Chocolates

Visit Wilbur Chocolate, famous for its bite-sized chocolate dollop with a signature curlicue on top, known as Wilbur Buds. Visit the museum and see early candy-making machinery and molds.  Watch the video explaining what happens in the factory as the smooth, rich flavor of Wilbur Chocolate is created from the cocoa bean.
