Murder Mystery at Mount Hope

Upon arrival in the historic Mount Hope Mansion, you will be introduced to a cast of characters and will quickly discover there is a mystery that needs solving. Our 2022 event will be set at as The Floating Theater – A Gilded Age Murder Mystery: Your host William Chapman, Sr. and his family are pleased to welcome you aboard the pride of Pennsylvania, The Floating Theater, a showboat like no other. Setting sail for New Orleans, you and the rest of the guests are in for wonderful journey. The year is 1878, America finds itself in a new era, marked with rapid economic expansion. It's a time for innovation and technical advances. But it's also rife with grift, materialism, and corruption…after all money isn't everything, it's the only thing. As you embark, things don't go as planned and your host is found dead. How far will someone go to ensure their place in society? Is someone on this voyage a murderer? It's up to you to deduce who the vaude-villain is in this murderous melodrama.
