The Music Man

Two-time Tony Award, Grammy Award, and Emmy Award winner Hugh Jackman will make his highly anticipated return to Broadway in what is widely agreed to be the greatest role ever created for an actor in the history of musical theater: Professor Harold Hill in Meredith Willson's beloved classic, The Music Man. Two-time Tony Award-winning musical comedy superstar Sutton Foster will star as Marian Paroo.

One of the most universally cherished treasures of the American musical theater, The Music Man was an instant smash hit when it premiered on Broadway on December 19, 1957. It went on to win five Tony Awards, including the prize for Best Musical, and ran for 1,375 performances. The Smithsonian Institution ranks The Music Man as one of the "great glories" of American popular culture.

Theatre is not completely wheelchair accessible. There are no steps into the theatre from the sidewalk.

Mezzanine Location: Located on the 2nd level - up 2 flights (34 steps). Please Note: On the Mezzanine level, there are approximately 2 steps down per row.

Handrails: Available at the rear entrance stairs to every aisle, and at every row but only in the very far side aisle at each end of the Mezzanine.

No Elevators.

NYC Vaccination Requirements for Indoor Activities

People 12 and older participating in public indoor activities will be required to show proof they have received two vaccine doses, except for those who have received the one dose of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine.

-Children ages 5 to 11 are required to have proof of at least 1 does of a vaccine for public indoor activities.

 

For proof of vaccination, you can use:

-CDC Vaccination Card. A digital photo or photocopy of this card is also acceptable.

-NYC Vaccination Record or other official immunization record, including from your health care provider. A digital photo or photocopy of this card is also acceptable.

-NYC COVID Safe App: You can upload to this app a photo of your CDC vaccination card or other official record, along with your photo ID.

-CLEAR Health Pass: You can use the digital vaccine card option in the CLEAR app if you are 18 and older and are fully vaccinated.

-Excelsior Pass: To use this app, you will need the phone number or email address associated with your New York vaccination record.

"New York Offline Map" is a good one.If you like to plan in advance, we recommend you  use an app (like google, yelp, opentable, etc) to find restaurants nearby the theatre. Keep in mind there will be many places you can just pop into for a bite to eat - no reservations required!
