Visit the newly renovated Smithsonian's National Air and Space Museum featuring the world's largest and most significant collection of aviation and space artifacts, encompassing all aspects of human flight.

United States Botanic Garden
Established by the U.S. Congress is 1820, the United States Botanical Garden is one of the oldest botanic gardens in North America. Through the Conservatory, National Garden, and Bartholdi Park, the Garden informs visitors about the importance and fundamental value and diversity of plants, as well as their aesthetic, cultural, economic, therapeutic and ecological significance. National Museum of American History
The National Museum of American History collects, preserves, and displays the heritage of the United States in the areas of social, political, cultural, scientific, and military history. Among the items on display is the original Star Spangled Banner. Through research, in-depth exhibits, extensive collections and public outreach, the museum presents America's history in all of its complexity. The museum's collection features more than three million artifacts, from Dorothy's ruby slippers in The Wizard of Oz to sheet music written by DC legend Duke Ellington.
