Balloon Fiesta

Founded in 1972, the Fiesta began with 13 balloons and has grown to more than 600 balloons from all over the world. We view the "mass ascension" of these specially shaped balloons as they lift off at sunrise.

 

The Balloon Glow & Fireworks

Get ready for a real treat at the Balloon Glow event. Just before dusk, the burners of nearly 500 balloons are ignited and the evening sky fills with a kaleidoscope of brilliant, luminous color. We top off the evening with a vivid fireworks display.

 

Santa Fe Touring

Nestled in the Sangre de Cristo Mountains in the foothills of the Rockies is Santa Fe. A local guide joins us for a walking tour of historic Santa Fe. We visit the Loretto Chapel, a marvel of architectural ingenuity and Miraculous Staircase. For the shoppers, Governor's Plaza will provide a variety of shops and artist studios.

 

Pecos National Park

East of Santa Fe is Pecos National Historic Park, which features the ruins of Pecos Pueblo and Mission. Pecos is the site of westernmost battle of the Civil War, the Battle of Glorieta Pass that was fought March 26-28, 1862.

 

Indian Pueblo Cultural Center

Visit the Indian Pueblo Cultural Center and enjoy a dinner featuring regional cuisine and an exclusive live performance from a Native American dance troupe.

Deposit/Final Payment Policy:

  • The non-refundable deposit is $300.00 per person.

  • Final payment is due by 8/2/2024.

 

Cancellation Penalties:

  • If cancellation occurs from booking date to 8/2/24, a $300.00* per person penalty will be assessed.

  • If cancellation occurs between 8/3/24 to 9/11/24, an $1,100.00* per person penalty will be assessed.

  • If cancellation occurs between 9/12/24 and 10/11/24, the traveler is in full penalty and no refund will be granted.

 

*In addition to the cancellation polices listed above, if additional payments have been made to Eyre Tours for the purpose of securing your airline reservation, these monies are non-refundable once received. Any name changes after final payment is made will be assessed a per person change fee. The amount of the fee will be determined by the airline.

Day 1

Arrive in Albuquerque. Each October, the skies of New Mexico are painted with hundreds of balloons as they lift off from Fiesta Park. This evening, join your Tour Manager for an orientation at 6pm, followed by dinner.

Day 2

Depart very early for Fiesta Park. Founded in 1972, the Fiesta began with 13 balloons and has grown to more than 600 balloons from all over the world. View the "mass ascension" of these specially shaped balloons as they lift off at sunrise. Tonight, visit the Indian Pueblo Cultural Center and enjoy a dinner featuring regional cuisine and an exclusive live performance from a Native American dance troupe.

Day 3

Today, enjoy a city tour and explore the history of Albuquerque. There is free time today to explore Old Town. Get ready for a real treat this evening at the Balloon Glow event. Just before dusk, the burners of nearly 500 balloons are ignited and the evening sky fills with a kaleidoscope of brilliant, luminous color. Top off the evening with a vivid fireworks display.

Day 4

A local guide joins us for a walking tour of historic Santa Fe. We visit the Loretto Chapel, a marvel of architectural ingenuity. For the shoppers, Governor's Plaza will provide a variety of shops and artist studios.

Day 5

Travel east of Santa Fe to visit Pecos National Historic Park, which features the ruins of Pecos Pueblo and Mission. Pecos is the site of westernmost battle of the Civil War, the Battle of Glorieta Pass that was fought March 26-28, 1862. Tonight enjoy dinner hosted by your Tour Manager.

Day 6

After breakfast, transfer to the Albuquerque's Sunport Airport for your flight home.
