US Open

Come with Starr Tours to the U.S. Open international tennis tournament, the fourth and final of the major events that make up the annual Grand Slam of tennis (the other tournaments are the Australian Open, the French Open, and the Wimbledon Championships). The U.S. Open is held each year over a two-week period in late August and early September. Since 1978 all the U.S. Open championships have been played on the acrylic hard courts of the U.S. Tennis Association (USTA) National Tennis Center(renamed the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in 2006) in Flushing Meadows, Queens, N.Y. The U.S. Open consists of championships in five main categories: men's singles and doubles, women's singles and doubles, and mixed doubles. The first four days of the tournament, featuring first- and second-round play, represent the US Open at its most frenetic, fantastic heights. Everywhere you look, there's tennis, as new faces look to make their mark alongside established stars. Every court at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center is teeming with talent; the practice courts are packed with those who've been there and those looking to get there. There's an electricity in the air that you can feel down to your socks. And, of course, the stores are freshly stocked so you can buy socks. It's like one incredible block party (if your block was 42.5 acres and had 22 courts).

What's included:

-General Admission to USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center Grounds

-First-come, first-served access to General Admission areas of:

-Louis Armstrong Stadium (unreserved seats in the upper level on both sides of the court)

-Grandstand Stadium

-Field Courts & Grounds, including the practice courts west of Ashe Stadium

**With a Grounds Pass, there is no access to Ashe Stadium (only Ashe reserved tickets provide access to Ashe Stadium)

LOUIS ARMSTRONG STADIUM: Opened in 2018, the 14,000-seat stadium puts fans closer to the action and offers amazing sightlines from which to take in that action. As the Open's No. 2 show court, Armstrong truly is second-to-none, each year hosting some of the tournament's best and most exciting matches. Also equipped with a roof, matches in Louie are likewise protected against the elements (as are the smart fans taking in the action there). Armstrong Stadium is one of the US Open's true gem's offering fans great tennis and great sight lines.
