Cruise Highlights:

Cruise Tracy Arm Fjord

Nestled between 3,000-foot high granite walls, the narrow, twisting slice of ocean called Tracy Arm Fjord weaves through the Tongass National Forest for roughly 35 miles. The shoreline is spotted with waterfalls created by melting snowcaps and trees sprouting at odd angles from rocky outcroppings.

Port of Call #1: Skagway

As your ship approaches Skagway, you'll see the town resting peacefully at the base of a river valley bordered by the Coast Mountains. The mountains, ranging from 5,000 to 7,000 feet in height, seem to rise straight up from the saltwater fjord. Once on land, the streets of Skagway draw you back over 100 years, when this idyllic native fishing village was overrun by hordes of prospectors. Today, wooden sidewalks, old-fashioned saloons, quaint gift shops, and horse-drawn carriages serve as reminders of the Alaskan Gold Rush days.

Port of Call #2: Juneau

Juneau is considered by many to be the most beautiful capital city in the nation. Checking in at a little over 3,100 square-miles, Juneau qualifies as the biggest American city - geographically, that is. The terrain is hilly and winding, and narrow streets present a small-town quaintness existing side-by-side with cosmopolitan sophistication. You'll find great shopping, fine restaurants, and superb museums.

Port of Call #3: Ketchikan

A popular destination along Alaska's famed Inside Passage, Ketchikan is teeming with Native American culture. Home of the largest concentration of Tlingit, Haida and Tsimshian people in the state, this extraordinarily beautiful city on Revillagigedo Island boasts the world's largest collection of totem poles, and an equally impressive selection of museums and cultural centers featuring Native dance, carvings and artifacts. Ketchikan's calm waters and surprisingly gentle climate make it a favorite of sport fishermen.

Port of Call #4: Victoria, British Columbia

Located on the southern tip on the island of Vancouver in British Columbia, the city of Victoria is probably best known for its mild climate and active outdoor lifestyle. Among the many attractions are world-famous gardens, its 150 years of British history, gourmet dining, and fantastic shopping.

Carnival Spirit

Carnival Spirit is more than a ship, but an unforgettable vacation experience you'll be reliving for a long time. Whether you're after something that's action-packed or just want to relax and unwind, this ship has what you're looking for. (Our suggestion: choose both!)

There's heaps of fun to be had, and there's definitely something in it for everyone; little ones, big ones and the whole family. We're talking about a mini-golf course, two-deck fitness center, jogging track, Serenity Adult-Only Retreat, pools, a spa and more. And playing it cool isn't hard at WaterWorks - after all, you're among waterslides like Green Thunder - plus you can always cool down, or warm up, with a dip in our domed swimming pool. Keep the kids entertained with three age-appropriate youth programs that give them plenty of choice on activities and fun chances to make new friends.

Our recommendation: sail hungry. After all, you'll be enjoying meals in three-course style in the Empire Restaurant or just go ahead and build a meal with as many courses as you like at the casual-style, variety-packed Lido Restaurant. Speaking of casual, the trio of RedFrog Pub, Guy's Burger Joint and BlueIguana Cantina each put their own delicious spins on flavor itself. To get a little fancy, sit down at Nouveau Steakhouse. To get a lot un-fancy - and we mean this in the most delicious way possible - check out 24-hour pizza and soft-serve.

When the sun goes down, the fun's over. Nope, just kidding! Carnival Spirit features bars and lounges, plus entertainment that's great for when you're feeling like live comedy, musical performances and more. Feel like helping out a little? All the vocal cords are encouraged to participate at the piano bar. Feeling lucky? The casino's right over there.

Carnival Spirit is no stranger to amazing vacations... and hopes you won't be a stranger either!
