Frederic Remington Museum

At the Frederic Remington Art Museum, immerse yourself in the world of one of America's most iconic artists. The museum houses a comprehensive collection of original paintings, sketches, and sculptures by Frederic Remington—each piece capturing the spirit and drama of the American frontier. Explore a rich array of personal effects, letters, and correspondence that offer a rare glimpse into Remington’s life, creative process, and enduring vision.

Iva Smith Memorial Gallery of Fine Art (Barn Quilt)

Housed in a lovingly-restored 19th Century barn, the Iva Smith Gallery serves as summer home to the artwork of Paul Saphier. As a proud member of the Hammond Barn Quilt Trail, the Gallery honors the area's quilting heritage, displaying several barn quilts, each with a story of its own.

Singer Castle

Singer Castle is the only castle on the river to be completed, fully furnished, and resided in during the heyday of the 'great builders' and industrials in New York. The castle remained in the possession of the original Bourne family from its construction in 1905 until the mid 1960s. Enjoy a 45-minute guided tour of Singer Castle on Dark Island, including four floors of the castle featuring the Great Hall, Library, dining room, breakfast room, terrace, drawing room, Loggia, Wicker Room, bedrooms, guest rooms, and 4th floor dormitory.

Old-Fashioned Fisherman Shore Dinner

Savor a true North Country tradition with an authentic shore dinner prepared by local fishing guides. This timeless experience includes freshly caught fish, hearty sides, and, of course, the region’s signature Thousand Island dressing. Cooked over an open flame and served by the water’s edge, it’s a delicious taste of local heritage.

1000 Islands Ultimate Tour

Embark on a scenic tour of the breathtaking 1000 Islands, where history, romance, and natural beauty come together. Enjoy a leisurely cruise through the islands, step inside the legendary Boldt Castle on Heart Island for a self-guided tour, visit the Rock Island Lighthouse, and savor a relaxing picnic lunch along the St. Lawrence River.

Antique Boat Museum and George Boldts Houseboat The LaDuchesse

Located in the heart of the 1000 Islands on the St. Lawrence River, the Antique Boat Museum is North America's premier freshwater boating museum. Explore an extraordinary collection of over 320 unique boats and thousands of boating artifacts and archives, celebrating the rich heritage of life on the water. The 4.5-acre campus comes alive with speedboat rides, a working skiff livery, and educational programs.
