Shenandoah National Park Sightseeing Tour

Enjoy a guided tour of Shenandoah National Park as we travel north along the historic Skyline Drive, one of the most scenic routes in the national park system. Our knowledgeable guide will share the park's rich history and the fascinating stories of the resilient individuals who once called this rugged landscape home. The tour includes a visit to the Byrd Visitor Center in the Big Meadows area, where you'll have the opportunity to observe native wildlife in the park's forests and meadows. We will also make several stops at overlooks, offering breathtaking views of the Shenandoah Valley more than 4,000 feet below.

 

Skyland Resort

Skyland Resort, originally known as Stony Man Camp, was founded in 1888 by conservationist George Freeman Pollock Jr., whose vision later helped establish Shenandoah National Park. Named "Skyland" for its breathtaking perch near the highest point along Skyline Drive, this historic resort offers visitors a true mountain escape. We'll enjoy a relaxing lunch at this scenic retreat, where you can savor a delicious meal while taking in the stunning views of the surrounding landscape.

Lunch is included at Skyland Resort. Choices are:

• Angus Burger: 6 oz. ground Angus, Swiss cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion, & pickle, served on a brioche bun with chips

• Impossible Burger (Vegetarian): 6 oz. plant based patty, Swiss cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion, & pickle, served on a brioche bun with chips

Lunch is served with soup du jour, blackberry ice cream for dessert, coffee, iced tea, pink or blackberry lemonade, and water.
