Talbot Street Christmas Parade

The Talbot Street Christmas Parade promises to delight with a lively procession of antique cars, fire engines, clowns, floats, horses, kazoo bands, and even llamas, along with marching bands from St. Michaels Middle/High School and Easton High School. You might even spot a calliope or a penny farthing, and of course, Santa and Mrs. Claus will make their grand entrance, riding in a fabulous antique sleigh. The parade kicks off at 10:30 a.m. at the Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum entrance and travels south along Talbot Street to the St. Michaels Elementary School parking lot.

 

Christmas in St. Michaels Festival

The annual Christmas in St. Michaels festival offers a variety of festive events included with your admission. Enjoy a tour of the town's finest homes, all beautifully decorated for the holidays, and indulge in an old-fashioned Christmas dinner featuring a homemade holiday meal with all the trimmings. Visit the Christmas Marketplace at the Granite Lodge in St. Mary's Square, and enjoy free admission to the Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum. Take advantage of half-price admission to the Classic Motor Museum, and experience tastings at St. Michaels Winery and Brewery (fees may apply). The Jackson Jubilee Singers will perform gospel and Christmas spirituals at Christ Church, and Talbot Street shops and boutiques will be open for holiday shopping. Festival admission also includes a shuttle to transport you around town to fully enjoy all the festivities.

 

Historic Homes of St. Michaels

Take a tour of the historic homes in the village of St. Michaels, where you'll stroll through the town's rich history and atmosphere. These homes, many built in the 18th and 19th centuries, were once the residences of watermen and seafarers. Over time, they have been thoughtfully restored, expanded, and adapted to modern living while preserving their historic charm. The homes are conveniently located within walking distance of each other, making it a perfect opportunity to explore the village on foot.

 

 

Meal Information:

Lunch is included at The Methodist Church, Parish Hall.

Lunch will feature a traditional Christmas meal, including sliced roast turkey with trimmings, baked ham, Maryland fried oysters, creamy coleslaw, baked macaroni and cheese, blue lake green beans, candied sweet potatoes, dinner rolls, assorted desserts, coffee, and fruit punch.
