Virginia Beach Guided Sightseeing Tour

We’ll begin our day traveling north along Virginia Beach’s spectacular oceanfront. With the Atlantic Ocean stretching alongside us, we’ll pass several notable landmarks, including the historic Cavalier Hotel, the former home of a fascinating local mystery involving Adolph Coors, and Edgar Cayce’s Association for Research and Enlightenment. Our destination is First Landing State Park, where the first English settlers arrived in 1607 before establishing Jamestown. At the Visitor Center, you’ll discover exhibits that bring this pivotal moment in American history to life, including some surprisingly candid accounts from the settlers themselves. Then enjoy a stroll along the boardwalk to a scenic overlook offering one of the area’s most remarkable views. From this unique vantage point, you’ll see both waterways that have shaped southeastern Virginia for centuries—the Chesapeake Bay and the Atlantic Ocean—along with an impressive view of the Chesapeake Bay Bridge-Tunnel. Be sure to have your camera ready for this outstanding photo opportunity. Back aboard the motorcoach, your guide will share more than 400 years of Virginia history as we travel south to the Park at 31st Street. Here you’ll meet one of Virginia Beach’s most recognizable landmarks: the magnificent Neptune Rising from the Sea statue, created by Richmond artist Paul DiPasquale. Standing watch over the boardwalk since 2005, the 34-foot bronze Neptune has become one of the most photographed works of public art on the East Coast. Your guide will share the story behind this iconic sculpture and its special connection to the local community. Private Air Show

This twenty-minute private performance includes a narrated flying demonstration showcasing a historical aircraft and commemorating significant wartime events. Experience the rumble of the engines up close as pilots share what it’s like to fly these incredible machines. Learn about the battles they fought in and the men and women who built, flew, and maintained them during the war! All demonstrations are weather and maintenance permitting, and aircraft may be substituted due to availability.

 

Starr's 80th Birthday Bash

Join Starr's 3rd generation owners, Sandy and Pete Borowsky, for an unforgettable evening celebrating 80 years of Starr as we gather at the Military Aviation Museum! The celebration kicks off among the museum's stunning vintage aircraft, then moves upstairs for a catered dinner and entertainment. Toast to eight decades together with cocktails from the bar, indulge in a delicious meal and birthday cake, and dance to the smooth stylings of a live Frank Sinatra tribute performance. We always celebrate with giveaways too - who doesn't love a birthday present? It's a milestone worth celebrating in style, and we can't wait to share it with you!

Dinner on day one is included at Captain Georges Seafood Buffet Restaurant

Lunch will be served buffet-style and features salad, fish, fried fish & seafood, chicken, pork ribs, sirloin steak, smoked beef brisket, homemade baked breads, fresh vegetables, and desserts. Non-alcoholic beverages are included.

 

Lunch on day two is included at Town Point Club

Lunch will be served buffet-style and features assorted sandwiches or wraps: smoked turkey & gouda with bistro sauce, chilled grilled chicken & romaine wrap with creamy caesar dressing, shaved rare beef & smoked cheddar with tobacco onions & barbecue aioli, and avocado, tomato, lettuce & mayonnaise. Lunch is served with tossed garden salad, vegetable pasta salad, and clubmade potato chips. Iced tea, coffee, and hot tea are included.

 

Dinner on day three is included at the Birthday Bash Dinner Party at the Military Aviation Museum
