Best known for their famous pretzel bark, Highland Chocolates also features an impressive variety of molded chocolates, sweet snack mixes, creamy fudge, and handcrafted chocolate gifts.

 

Wine & Cider Tasting at Innerstoic Wine & Cider Co.

Founded in 2019 outside Wellsboro, Pennsylvania, Innerstoic Wine & Cider Company strives to keep it simple and authentic. They believe that quality wine and cider is first and foremost a result of sourcing and picking the absolute best quality fruit they can lay their hands on. From foraging for wild apples off of trees, some of which have graced the local lands for over a century, to partnering with local grape growers who are completely in tune to the pulse of their unique vineyards, they believe this is the surest way to provide a pure representation of what the local environment has to offer. From a wine making perspective, you will not find mass-produced, replicated recipes from year to year here. They believe that they are here to work with what mother nature gives them annually, and to then only gently guide and nurture these wines as they evolve, develop and preserve the story of that vintage within the bottle.

Step back in time and set sail on a leisurely cruise down the Susquehanna River aboard the historic Hiawatha Paddlewheel Riverboat. As you glide along the scenic waters, enjoy captivating tales from the era "when lumber was king," bringing the rich history of the region to life. Enjoy a delicious lunch served onboard as you cruise.

Lunch on day one is included at Le Jeune Chef. Choices are:

• Seared Atlantic Salmon with maple Dijon glaze, pan seared fingerling potatoes with thyme and rosemary, grilled asparagus with lemon zest

• Seared Chicken Breast with sundried tomato and spinach cream sauce, pan seared fingerling potatoes with thyme and rosemary, grilled asparagus with lemon zest

• Tortellini Primavera with tomatoes and asparagus in a creamy tomato sauce

Lunch is served with rolls & butter, salad with Italian dressing, chocolate soup for dessert, along with coffee, hot tea, and water.

 

Dinner on day one is included at the Mary Wells Dining Room at the Historic Penn Wells Hotel:

• Grilled Chicken Breast: marinated and grilled chicken served with mashed potatoes and gravy and sauteed green beans

• Haddock: Broiled haddock served with a white wine butter sauce, wild rice medley, and sauteed green beans

• Vegetarian entree (pasta)

Dinner is served with mixed green salad with house made balsamic dressing, dinner rolls, chef's choice of dessert along with iced tea, hot tea or coffee.

• Dinner on night one is a short walk (1 Block) to Mary Wells Dining Room at the Penn Wells Hotel from the Penn Wells Lodge.

• Every Eyre trip includes deluxe round-trip motorcoach transportation from one or more of our departure locations.

• Leonard Harrison State Park: The outlooks and restrooms are not wheelchair accessible.

• Penn Wells Lodge: The Lodge has two floors and no elevator. Please request a first floor room if you have walking difficulties.

• Eyre has a select quantity of wheelchair accessible motorcoaches available; therefore, we suggest you contact a Travel Advisor to discuss any needs you may have before reserving your trip.

The Penn Wells Lodge is located in the heart of Pennsylvania Grand Canyon country. The lodge features an indoor pool and fitness room. Guest rooms include a hair dryer and iron/board on request.
